Hello there! Nice to see you here. I am planning to build this website as a personal blog, a diary and a resume. Visitors such as yourself will be able to learn more about me, what I am passionate about and what I care. I might also share a bit of my personal life and my hobbies here but no promises. Let’s see how much time I could spare for this project.
Personal Life
I am a passionate person. Whatever I do, I try to do it properly and as good as I could. I spend quite some time doing different kinds of activities like playing football and futsal, indie game programming, strength training, jogging and riding my bicycle. I also started studying my MBA at Aalto University Executive Education.
I enjoy quality music as everyone else but I am more into easy to listen kind of music. Although I spent quite some time in Finland, I cannot stand the metal music which Finland is famous for.
I like good espresso and best to ensure good espresso is doing it yourself. I consume it in the form of cappuccino, but anyway, espresso pictures are more sexy.
Professional Life
I have been programming for more than a decade for a living. This includes diving deep into software architecture and improving myself in software project management. My programming skills are at best with C# and tools programming. I have done desktop apps for designers and other coders.
I have been in all levels of software development from being a hands on developer to designing complex systems. I have been a scrum master in the teams I worked. I have been in a product owner role for software development teams as a hands on person also leading the teams. We have always been using Scrum framework or some form of its adaptation to our needs. I am a certified Scrum Master and Product Owner.
Starting from February 2022, I switched to become a full time manager by taking the role of Software Engineering Manager to lead the R&D department of Rightware. In march 2024, my role was renamed as Head of Engineering, keeping the responsibilities essentially the same.
